Amy & Mat's Magical May Day

Updated: Sep 21, 2023

When we first met Amy in October 2021 she was super excited and fell in love with Minley Manor at first viewing. She visited with her mother and we then had Mat visit on a later date to see whether he felt the same about their potential wedding reception venue. Success! They both shared the same love of architecture and the barrel-vaulted ceiling of the Orangery sparked their passion.

They planned to marry at St Marys in Eversley and the beautiful church was adorned in stunning floral pillars by the ever talented Mad Lillies.

Mat had hired a beautiful PORSCHE 356 SPEEDSTER from RNG Classics to drive Amy from the church to their reception at Minley Manor.

Friends and family cheered as they waited on the forecourt for their bride and groom.

A quick group shot of their 100 guests by the lovely Philippa Sian Photography before moving to the Cloisters for the drinks reception.

While guests enjoyed the grounds they were served champagne and canapes under a blissfully sunny Spring sky by our fabulous catering partners The Little Kitchen Company.

Meanwhile inside, the final touches were being made to their stunning long banquet table running down the entire length of the Orangery.

This stunning colour palate of the palest blush pinks and amethyst was simply breath-taking.

The newlyweds opted to be sat amongst their guests in the middle of the grand dining table - a beautiful use of the space.

Happy tears!

As guests moved outside for the wedding breakfast to be cleared ready for the evening party, the amazing guys at Chin Chin mobile bar kept the drinks flowing with their outside bar on the lawns.

A very proud husband and his new wife ♥♥

The couple chose to cut their beautiful cake made by a family friend, in the Cloisters so all their guests could gather on the lawns for the best view.
